Additional First Fruits (Just Crushed) Extra Virgin Olive Oils From California!
The following extra virgin olive oils are now available and come from an award winning mill in Livermore California. We are still waiting for our own chemical analysis to come back from our lab, but this producer regularly exceeds a 500 polyphenol count in his early harvest extra virgin olive oils. We will post the results as soon as they become available.
IOO958: New Frantoio Verde Robusto: While we don't have the chemistry back, we anticipate a VERY high polyphenol count on this evoo, perhaps North of 550. Our Frantoio is herbaceous, grassy, peppery and extremely bold. Notes of artichoke dominate its center. The finish is strong and lingers in the throat!

IOO959: New Manzanillo Robusto: This evoo is extremely robust with a huge, lingering peppery finish. The center has notes of green asparagus with a pleasant hint of fruitiness. Undoubtedly, a very high phenol content will be detected in this oil.
