HOJIBLANCA. For those who do not know, the Mario Solinas competition is promoted
as the most prestigious, most heavily vetted, closely scrutinized extra virgin

We’ve touted this oil as being excellent in past newsletters so we now have further corroboration along with our 3rd party taste panel scores. *All of our olive oils are tasted by a panel of experienced tasters who score them using official group panel criteria to come up with fruitiness, bitterness and pungency scores –these scores represent official grading methods, rather than relying on a single taster’s personal opinion! For those who don’t know, several of us at Veronica Foods Co. are trained tasters, yet we always defer to a third party group panel.
We’ve also attached statement from Melgarejo which discusses our exclusive relationship. Please note that this highly decorated Hojiblanca as well as the other Melgarejo oils can only be purchased at stores supplied by VF as we are their exclusive North American Partner.
